Yes! Benjamin Plumbing
is a plumbing contractor with a complete retail showroom.
If I purchase
from Benjamin Plumbing's showroom, does Benjamin Plumbing have to install the
product?
No. You may install the
product yourself, or have another contractor install it. However, if product is
not installed by Benjamin Plumbing, even though the manufacturer's warranty
applies, Benjamin Plumbing's year warranty does not apply.
Does my
plumbing contractor buy from Benjamin Plumbing?
No. Benjamin Plumbing is
a plumbing contractor. All plumbing contractors purchase their material through
a plumbing distributor.
If I
find what I like in Benjamin Plumbing's Showroom, can Benjamin Plumbing install
it for me?
Absolutely!
How
soon can it be installed?
If we do not have the
product in stock in our warehouse, Benjamin Plumbing will order the product for
you and call you as soon as it is received in our warehouse to schedule an
installation date.
Does
Benjamin Plumbing accept credit cards?
We accept MasterCard
and Visa.
Will Benjamin Plumbing install a product I bought somewhere
else?
It is our policy to
install only products we provide. We stand behind the manufacturers'
warranties, as well as warranty our labor. If there is a problem with product
we provide, we correct it to your satisfaction. We do not install products
bought elsewhere because:
I want
to remodel my bathroom; how do I get started?
Come into our showroom
and select your products. Our showroom personnel work together with our
remodeling estimators. An estimator will call you to schedule an appointment to
inspect your bathroom and discuss your remodeling project with you. He will
then prepare a proposal and mail it to you for your approval.
Is
there an extra charge to have the estimator come to my home?
No. This is a service
Benjamin Plumbing provides to all our customers.
I have
seen a Benjamin Plumbing truck in my neighborhood several times. Am I seeing
the same truck all the time?
No. We have approximately
35 trucks in our fleet.
Why so
many? Is there that much residential work going on in the
Benjamin Plumbing does
commercial as well as residential plumbing. On service calls, you'll see our
well-stocked radio dispatched service trucks.
Who
does the carpentry work needed for my bathroom remodeling project?
If you have a
contractor you have worked with in the past and wish to use again, we will work
with that contractor on your project. We also work with several remodeling
contractors on a regular basis and will be happy to recommend one to you.
My
builder said Benjamin Plumbing is my plumbing contractor for my new home.
Should I just stop in or should I call for an appointment?
If you are building a
new home, we suggest you make an appointment with our showroom personnel. We
will schedule a special time for you to allow us to give you the personal
attention you need.
Is
Benjamin Plumbing only a showroom? What if I just want a leaky faucet fixed?
Benjamin Plumbing has a
complete Service Department. When you call our Service Department, our
personnel will ask questions to determine the nature of the problem and
schedule an appointment.
Does
Benjamin Plumbing stick to appointment times, or will I have to sit at home all
day and wait for the plumber?
All of our trucks are
radio equipped and all our plumbers carry pagers. If our scheduled plumber is
going to be early or late, we contact our customers to inform them.
If my
repair job only takes 20 minutes to complete, will I be charged a flat one hour
rate?
No. Benjamin Plumbing
charges a trip charge and a minimum 30 minute labor charge. After the first 30
minutes, labor is billed in fifteen-minute increments.
If I'm putting
in a new whirlpool or luxury shower, will my current hot water heater be large
enough to handle the capacity?
That depends. There are
many factors that affect the size of water heater you need, including type of
fixture, size of your plumbing line, and others. Benjamin Plumbing can make a
recommendation and install a new Ruud PROFESSIONAL water heater that fits your
needs.
I have
a septic system. I've been told I can't have a disposer. Is this true?
No it is not true.
